Heating the Wax:
- To heat wax, remove the lid and place the jar in the LYCOtec White Strip Wax heater. Heat to 70-75˚C (158 – 167˚F) until wax reaches a honey-like consistency.
- For the 800ml jar, microwave for 1 minute on HIGH, then heat in 30-second intervals until properly melted. Place in a wax heater like the LYCOPRO Duo Wax Heater to maintain temperature.
Preparation:
- Test wax temperature on your arm to ensure it’s not too hot before applying.
- Cleanse the skin with Lycotane Skin Cleanser and allow it to dry thoroughly.
Wax Application:
- Using a spatula like the Metal Spatula, at a 90° angle, apply wax from the LYCOtec White Strip Wax in the direction of hair growth.
- Apply a waxing strip firmly over the wax, such as the Epilace Pre-Cut Waxing Strips, ensuring it sticks properly. Rebond the strip several times if necessary.
Wax Removal:
- Hold the skin taut and remove the waxing strip quickly against the hair growth direction.
- Repeat as needed until all hair is removed, then cleanse the skin again with Lycotane Skin Cleanser.
Post-Wax Care:
- Apply Tea-Tree Perfect to soothe, protect, and moisturise the skin.
- Use Wax Solvent to clean equipment, surfaces, and clothes after the session.

- Do not apply wax to irritated, sunburnt, or broken skin.
- Heat wax gradually to avoid overheating, as excessive heat can damage the jar.
- Follow safety precautions when using the heater (LYCOPRO Duo Wax Heater) and avoid water contact.
