Making her salon a judgment free zone is very important and wants to inspire women to start their intimate waxing journey.

Hello Natasha! Tell us a bit about yourself and the wonderful business you have created.

Hi there! I'm Natasha, the founder of Eve Beauty Studio. With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, my journey has been fuelled by a passion for helping women feel more confident and better about themselves. At Eve, we've created a sanctuary for natural and sustainable beauty, offering bespoke treatments named after nature's beautiful leaves—Willow, Beech, Aspen. We've found that this approach empowers our clients, making them feel that they're taking time for themselves rather than conforming to societal expectations.

Having been in the beauty industry for 10 years, tell us the most important parts of the job for you.

Over my 10 years in the beauty industry, the most rewarding aspect for me is witnessing the transformation in my clients. Seeing them leave our studio feeling empowered and more confident is truly fulfilling. At Eve, we prioritise creating a safe, judgement-free space where all body shapes and sizes are welcomed with open arms.

Tell us about your Lycon waxing experience. How does Lycon elevate your waxing game?

Our nature-inspired treatment names, such as Willow, Beech, and Aspen, eliminate potential embarrassment and allow us to adapt to each client's preferences for a personalised and comfortable experience. This commitment extends beyond exceptional waxing services; we aim to empower individuals, reshape beauty standards, and contribute positively to our clients' lives. Hair removal, particularly for women, has carried a stigma that we are determined to overcome. We believe in promoting natural beauty and providing consultative, tailored treatments. Our ambition goes beyond excellent waxing services; we're establishing a dedicated waxing academy and developing our beauty product range, further contributing to a positive impact on our clients' lives.

Every client is distinct, and your genuine approach will set you apart in this ever-evolving industry. Remember, if you love what you do, as the saying goes, it will never feel like a job or a chore and that's the real beauty.

What or who inspires you?

My journey into the beauty industry began during my time at college. Observing the joy and liveliness of both beauty lecturers and students sparked a genuine interest in me. However, the true turning point unfolded when I secured my initial role as a beauty therapist in Salcombe, working alongside the remarkable Carole Lacey. Carole's commitment to excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering focus on client comfort and needs left a lasting impression on me. Her honesty and authenticity were admirable traits, qualities that I aspire to embody in my own professional journey.

Looking ahead, my ambition is to transition into a more permanent role as a beauty lecturer, either within a college setting or from the Eve Academy space I have created. Driven by the desire to inspire the next generation, I initially felt a bit lost upon entering the beauty world after college. However, Carole's guidance and teachings played a pivotal role in shaping my path. I am profoundly thankful for her mentorship, and I am committed to paying it forward by providing support and motivation to emerging beauty professionals in the future.

We have loved getting to know Natasha here at BTI and learning that she takes immense pride in providing a judgment-free zone where all are welcomed, seen, and cared for.
